Book Squad: Boundaries Book Discussion Week 5

Lord, you alone are my portion and my cup; you make my lot secure The boundary lines have fallen for me in pleasant places; surely I have a delightful inheritance. I will praise the Lord, who counsels me; even at night my heart instructs me. I keep my eyes always on the Lord. With him at my right hand, I will not be shaken. Psalm 16:5-8

Week five! We made it! This week was by far the best for me. I’ve been intentionally working on setting boundaries for about a year and a half, but I thought I was doing it wrong because of the resistance I have been receiving. Now I realize, it’s not me! Anger and guilt trips don’t mean I’m doing it wrong! They only mean the other person isn’t taking responsibility for themselves.

I want to thank each of you who’s joined us for this book study. My prayer for you is that you continue to grow and mature in your boundary setting. Our goal is to be as Christlike as possible, and boundary setting is an important part of that.

In Christ,
